Come join Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley to help take out the trash from Turkey Branch in Aspen Hill, MD! Volunteers will meet underneath the Connecticut Avenue bridge over Turkey Branch along the Matthew Henson hiker-biker trail. From Connecticut Avenue, turn onto Dean Road, then immediately left onto access road; park and follow path to trail. Wear warm layers, a hat, sturdy boots. Reusable gloves & trash bags provided.
This is a joint project of the Turkey Branch South and Turkey Branch North FORCE Stream Teams. Turkey Branch is one of more than 30 Rock Creek tributaries.
Come early to be on hand to greet Gov. O'Malley at 9 am!
