Join the Audubon Naturalist Society at the Woodend Sanctuary to pull invasives and mulch trails on the MLK Day of Service. Savor the fresh winter air while you work, and honor the memory of a great man who believed in the power and importance of service to the community. There will be hot cider and taste treats after the work.
Please let them know if you plan to come so they can be sure to have enough work gloves and cider available!
Woodend is located at 8940 Jones Mill Road, Chevy Chase, MD 20815.
A tributary of Rock Creek runs through the Woodend property, and the Audubon Naturalist Society is now one of FORCE Stream Teams!
