Committees play a vital role in our work. Most committees have a meeting or conference call every other month.
We welcome new members! You can visit a committee meeting to meet people and learn more about what we do. Please contact us at
if you would like to come to a meeting or find out more. Serving on a committee is a fun way to learn more about Rock Creek, be involved in the community, and get to know other people who care about Rock Creek.

The Program Committee works to carry out the Conservancy's mission through planning, setting priorities for advocacy, and evaluation of program activities. Our activities include cleanups, storm drain marking, non-native weed removal, monitoring, protecting land and water from unsustainable development, and implementation of demonstration projects to reduce polluted runoff, the top threat to the health of Rock Creek.
