Rock Creek Park on the Move

Rock Creek Conservancy invites you to be active in Rock Creek Park with our new community program,

Rock Creek Park On the Move!

Nestled in the heart of Washington, DC, Rock Creek Park is a gateway to the

National Park Service system and a backyard park for residents of the city.

About the Program: Rock Creek Park On the Move is a community program that combines stewardship events, healthy living programs, and active recreation opportunities with an interactive scorecard designed to track participants' progress and activity. Coordinated by The National Park Foundation, Rock Creek Park, and Rock Creek Conservancy, Rock Creek Park On the Move aims to get more people out on Rock Creek trails and in the Park.

About the Scorecard: Rock Creek Conservancy has created the Rock Creek Park On the Move scorecard to help people track their progress. The scorecard is free and available to all participants in print at the Nature Center and On the Move events, or online as a download. Once you complete the entire scorecard, turn it in and you will be entered into the prize raffle.

About the Activities: Rock Creek Park On the Move activities will include stewardship events, healthy living programs, and active recreation opportunities. On the Move programs will run from June 7th through December 6th with activities planned for each month. All of the On the Move activities will be on Rock Creek Conservancy's and Rock Creek Park's website.
