Program Manager, Downspout Disconnection Program

We are seeking a program manager to oversee our contract with DC Water for the Downspout Disconnection and Rain Barrel installation program in conjunction with our contractors to ensure all tasks are completed and reported in accordance with all contract specifications and deadlines. The main components of the program are door-to-door canvassing, program enrollment, disconnection of residential downspouts, and the installation of rain barrels located at specific project areas in the neighborhoods of the Rock Creek and Potomac River sewersheds.

Development Manager, Special Events

The Development Manager, Special Events will be responsible for the ultimate execution of all fundraising events handled by the Development Department including logistics, vendors, and overall event management. This individual is also responsible for cultivating and stewarding corporate- and event-related donors that these events bring into the organization. The Development Manager, Special Events will report to the Director of Development.

Director of Development

Deadline to apply: March 10, 2017

The Director of Development will work closely with the Executive Director, Development Committee, and the Board of Directors to develop and advance effective fundraising programs and activities that assist in furthering Rock Creek Conservancy's mission. This position will be responsible for overseeing all fundraising activities for RCC including events, direct mail, foundation and government grants, major donors, and corporate support.

Conservation Corps Field Coordinator (2)

We are seeking two field coordinators for our Rock Creek Conservation Corps (RC3) summer work program. Each field coordinator will be responsible for supporting two crews of 10 crew members (20 total). They will assist the program manager and crew leaders to facilitate educational and recreational experiences, conservation work projects, and crew member hiring. This is an office and outdoor position. Willingness to work in all outdoor conditions, in the heat, and among stinging insects is required. We are seeking self-starters that are detail oriented and flexible working in a team environment.

Conservation Corps Crew Leader (2)

We are seeking two crew leaders for our Rock Creek Conservation Corps (RC3) summer work program. Sample summer work projects include invasive exotic plant removal, trail maitenance, water quality monitoring, and conservation landscaping. This is an outdoor position; willingness to work in all outdoor conditions are required.
