Rock Creek is the 33-mile long tributary that flows from Laytonsville, MD, through Montgomery County and Washington, D.C., and into the Potomac River
The Rock Creek watershed is a 76.5-square-mile drainage basin that includes much of Rockville and Bethesda, MD and Northwest and Northeast DC.
And Rock Creek Park is a 1,754-acre urban national park in Washington, D.C., established by Congress in 1890 to protect Rock Creek and its surrounding valley. Every year, Rock Creek Park welcomes more than 2 million neighbors and visitors.
Rock Creek Conservancy protects, stewards, and enriches the forests, waters, wildlife,
communities, and parks of Rock Creek.
